Our new recipe kits are proving popular
Having met you for first time at Scottish good food show I used your spices for Tandoori Salmon. It was very succulent and so lovely . Looking forward to trying the others I bought. - Gill
Last night's dinner was an Indian feast made using the handy spice mix packs from Scotia Spice. Easy to prepare and so much tastier than some of the options on the supermarket shelf. - Gerry

I just made the dhal from the vegetarian box I bought at the craft fair at the Riverside museum last weekend and it was lovely! Think my brother in law will love his box too. Thanks Yasmin. - Lucy
Hi Yasmin, I've just made your Prawn Curry that you mentioned in the Herald Magazine at the weekend. This definitely won't be the last time. It's absolutely superb! - Gordon
Gerry's Kitchen review of a Scotia Spice box
Food blogger Gerry Haughian tested one of our boxes in his own kitchen and was delighted with the results: "last night's dinner was a delicious chicken curry made using the ingredients and recipe card from my Scotia Spice box. Really easy to follow recipe cards and super tasty." Read his full review here and Yasmin's answers to his regular 5 questions feature. Thanks Gerry!
Thanks from Iain
Having bought one of your packs at the Glasgow food festival (I was fennel tea man just like you haha) and being a complete novice to indian cooking, I tried first your spice tasting guide which explained a lot to me and allowed me to see which flavours I enjoy and how they interact in final dishes.
I then prepared a full banquet from your menus and found them both exciting and easy to follow and cook with spectacular results the curry was just superb and enjoyed by all, and the dhal was a great way to get kids to eat pulses (although I did cut down the chilli quantity).
The mint chutney was a great winner as I enjoyed the freshness of it although some found it a bit hothowever when I told them to take a bit of it with some curry or dhal and some cucumber raita on same fork they were all in agreement the flavours just explode in your mouth, each giving a little extra to the experience.
I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for expanding my cooking expertise and making it so simple to follow. - Iain
A new fan!

Scotia Spice In Switzerland!
“Having used the Scotia Spice recipes and enjoyed mouth watering meals, I thought the new Guide to Punjabi Cooking would make a lovely hostess gift when we visited family in Switzerland. Our grandson’s Mum, Silvia, just loves to cook and she was thrilled with her gift. She will send photos when she cooks her first Punjabi banquet in the Bernese Oberland." - Dorothy
Brilliant! We all loved the tandoori chicken, raita, and the kids even ate lentils. Thanks Scotia Spice! - Lisa
Dinner is served!
Dinner made and enjoyed by Pauline using Yasmin's recipes. Carrot and cumin curry, whole masoor Dahl (slightly overlooked as I left the gas on by mistake!) and my favourite - mint and coriander chutney, all served with rice, yoghurt and a cool beer. Not bad for a Wednesday evening - Delish!
